Conquering Heaven by *IIIXII:iconIIIXII:

It was to them a last resolve

To gaze beyond the azure

Into the eyes of God.

To see dark mystery in it's soul.

A last resort to those of

Lucifer's command to overturn

Eternal omnipotence.

To those, be it to us.

An eternally unreachable expanse.

Far too great in it's heights.

Far too vast a plane.

An immortal dream held in mortal minds.

Man seeks, though sought in vain.

Greatest God and creator.

Heaven be your throne.


For thou hast conquered.

Its been a while since I've written any poetry. :o
But I haven't lost it, at least I hope not. :P
And as usual this is spiritual. I hope you like it. There are plenty of allusions in it. There are some one liners in there too. lol :P
Everyone knows I'm big on spiritual poetry. This is no exception. :D

You know I thought that same thing, and your right it does sound good that way, but I mostly kept the extra part in there for "flow" purposes, its easier on the speech. Thanks so much for reading. It's much appreciated. :D
